THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS
I know you want to earn money without leaving your house and without a huge upfront investment. I know I do! 🙂 Fortunately, the internet has made things convenient for us. When I was a kid, computers were just coming out. You were considered computer savvy if you could quickly get the holes on the printer paper to line up with the tracks inside the printer. Now with the click of a button or tap of a phone screen, we are sharing pictures and messages with our friends and loved ones. I do my grocery shopping online and hardly ever venture to a store. In a few short years, everything is now possible, including making money online.
Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest are some of the social media platforms that most people use to make money online. As a matter of fact, you can make lots of money using these resources. Possibly more then you dreamed. If you want something easy and ideally fully automatic, then Facebook is the perfect choice.
Let’s Get Started………
I’m new to Facebook pages..What should I do?……
• Create an attractive Facebook profile
It doesn’t matter if your trying to bring in more customers to an existing business, or if your brand new on the block. When someone likes, trusts and knows you, they are more willing to learn about your business. Your profile gives you the opportunity to make a first impression. Make sure that you have fantastic photos and a great about area to give people the chance to love you! When choosing a profile picture, make sure it is a professional one. Your cover image should give people a photo of your persona. A complete about section, on the other hand, makes you more reliable and adds to your personality. Need help with this? Checkout some cheap ($5) gigs on Fiverr to help you create a great cover image or help edit your About section.
• Post openly on Facebook
Since your goal is to let your customers learn more about you, you should post freely on Facebook (within reason obviously). Allow your customers to get to know you. Be yourself. Do you have pets? Post a pic of you enjoying playing with your pet. Do you love to hike? Post a picture of you at the top of the last mountain you hiked up. Just be you!
• Facebook ads
If your goal is to get people to your Facebook page, or even your website, Facebook ads are great. They are very inexpensive (sometimes just a few cents a click), and they allow you to focus on a specific group of people that you would like to target. They are fantastic for a beginner because you can run trials for a few dollars and see what works before investing lots of money into advertising that goes nowhere.
I have a great Facebook page with lots of followers that I started for fun, but I don’t have a business…Can I make money?……

• Find an Affiliate Program
What’s an affiliate program you ask? Simply put, an affiliate program is when you place advertising links on your website or on your Facebook page, and then when people click on those links, you get paid. There are a few variations of that example, but lets keep it simple for now. Your affiliate program will provide you with marketing materials and a unique ID. You unique ID lets them track that the business was referred by you. Afterward, they will pay you commission based on the amount of business you produce. However, you need to work with a reliable affiliate marketing website to start earning. Most of the websites offer such program. Anyone can be an affiliate for as many websites they want, since there is no cost involved to get started. Amazon is one of the best places you can depend on if you’re looking for competitive affiliate programs available on the internet. My favorite affiliate program is ShareASale. As you may have read in some of my other posts, they offer a large selection of larger companies to promote while still allowing new bloggers to join. When you have chosen to market a particular company as an affiliate, look for the website of this company and complete the required forms. It is always free and only takes some minutes to accept your request. You should never pay any amount of money to be an affiliate.
• Write an e-book
If you prefer writing on a particular topic and selling your knowledge online, try writing an e-book. If you have a kindle or a smartphone, I’m sure you’ve purchased at least one e-book. The great thing about publishing an e-book instead of a paper book is that publishing an e-book is free!! Paypal has a great way of allowing you to setup payment for an electronic document and they instantly deliver the document after someone’s payment has been processed. Amazon also offers self publishing for a percent of your total, you could publish with them and be listed on their site for sale.
While Facebook might not be a secret pile of money waiting to be found, it is a fantastic place to advertise your current money making venture and turn it into a pile of money. Facebook can be a dependable source of earnings with some clever approach and work.
