Doing a Google Keyword Search is something that every business owner, marketer or content creator out there should invest their time and effort in. After all, the use of the right keywords determines whether people would be able to find their content or not. So, to help you out, below is the process that you should follow in doing it successfully.
Make a list of relevant topics
Put yourself in your target audience or customer’s shoes. If you were them, what are the topics that you are most likely interested in and topics that you are most likely to search for online? List down all the topics that you can think of. It would be best if you would list down the topics you think can provide you the most number of clicks and sales conversions.
Make use of Google keyword search tools
There is a need for you to acknowledge the fact that it would be difficult for you alone to find the keywords that best suits and are relevant to the topics that you have listed. So, in times like this, you need to make use of Google keyword search tools. As a matter of fact, there are also now tools out there that you can use in order to analyze the relevance of the keywords to your niche and to your target audience of course. Through the use of analysis tools, you would also be able to determine the demand or the search volume of consumers as well. If you can, it would also be better for you to know the keywords that people are using to find your company or your site.
Search for related terms
Now that you have been provided with the list of keywords that you can use and you want to find more keywords to use for your content, you can always do your search on Google. Type in a certain keyword and observe the search terms that are related to it upon your search. You can also consider the phrases in the suggestion portion of the results page located in the bottom part as keywords to be used in your next content. To have more idea, you can also search for the related terms for the suggested phrases.
Combine long tail keywords and head terms
Instead of just using head terms or the generic terms that are typically 2-4 words only, use long tail keywords together as well in order for you to be able to achieve a better result not only at present but even in the future as well. After all, it would be quite difficult for you to rank higher on head terms for the reason that they are already widely used as compared to the long tail keywords.
After you have successfully performed a Google keyword search, the only thing left for you to do is to create a new, fresh and valuable content containing those keywords and for sure, you would be able to have a high rank on Google.
